In March , 2024, we lost a true local legend. He was the voice of sport in the Hunter, the founding father of the Newcastle Knights, and the man who saved our Hunter Prostate Cancer Alliance. Leigh’s tireless passion for footy, family, friends and our community was undeniable. The impact he had on Newcastle during his lifetime cannot be overstated, and we at HPCA and ProCare wish to celebrate his achievements and honour his memory.

GP Psychiatry Support Line is a free service to GPs to help manage the care of mental health consumers.
ProCare’s Expert Team of
Mental Health Clinicians
ProCare’s multidisciplinary team of specialists provide psychiatry, psychology (clinical and registered), accredited counselling, and speech pathology associated with dementia.
Dr Martin Cohen is the clinical lead for the team, collaborating with Hunter New England Health, GPs, community groups, and other stakeholders. This collective approach helps us to provide timely and appropriate care to the community.
